21 Separating Watermelon Flowers
Pedro de Jesus Ramirez, a Triqui immigrant from Sabana, Oaxaca, works in a crew of indigenous migrants from Oaxaca and Guerrero separating male and female flowers on watermelon plants, to ensure the plants produce seeds. They work for labor contractor Nasario Dominguez.
