09 Strawberry camp
Salinas
Strawberry workers live in this small camp in a marshy place in the middle of a strawberry field just outside of Salinas. Coyotes smuggle these workers across the border, and leave them beside the field. They spend their first few weeks working and living in this encampment until they get enough money to move to a hotel in town.
