04 L.A. Day Labor Centers
A\At the Downtown Day Labor Center, a place where immigrant day laborers look for work, workers conduct a raffle to decide who will clean up the center that morning. The ones who clean will be first in line to get sent out to work. The center is a project of IDEPSCA, and affiliated with the National Day Labor Organizing Network.
