		24 Santiago de Juxtlahuaca The Mixteca region of Oaxaca is one of the poorest areas in Mexico. Indigenous Mixtec, Triqui and other groups from this region now make up a large percentage of the migrants who have left to work in the United States. A house is abandoned by a family who have gone north to find work.
