18 Postville Immigration Raid
A new Jewish kosher store has taken over a storefront in Postville, where
hundreds of Mexican and Guatemalan immigrants were arrested in an immigration
raid. The Agriprocessors meatpacking plant in Postville is the largest
kosher slaughterhouse in the U.S., and many Orthodox Jews have gone to
work there to ensure kosher requirements.
