23 Diamond Farms, Mindanao Armed guards keep out strikers at the Diamond Farms banana plantation. The plantation was created by Stanfilco, the Philippine subsidiary of Dole Corporation, and was taken over by workers under the land reform law. After Dole refused to raise prices, the workers went on strike. |
