		20 Hotel Workers Defend Health Care Hotel workers make picketsigns in preparation for strikes against San Francisco's largest and most luxurious hotels. The contract with the workers' union, UNITE HERE Local 2, expired in August, 2009. The luxury hotel chains demanded that workers pay for health care benefits, and used the economic crisis to pressure for a multi-year agreement with no increases.
